Dr. Kofi Kwame Nkrumah-Young is a distinguished Jamaican academic, senior administrator, financial strategist, and governance professional with extensive expertise in higher education financing, resource allocation, institutional management, and strategic planning. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Higher Education Management from the University of Bath, United Kingdom, a Master of Business Administration (Finance Major), and an Advanced Diploma in Banking and Finance from The University of the West Indies. 

Over the course of his career, Dr. Nkrumah-Young has earned recognition as a leading authority on education funding and finance in the Caribbean. His scholarly work on education financing and resource allocation has been published in peer-reviewed international journals and has contributed significantly to policy discussions and institutional decision-making in higher education. 

A seasoned executive and university administrator, Dr. Nkrumah-Young has demonstrated exceptional leadership in financial and strategic management. His achievements include helping to sustain a long record of financial surplus at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech), leading the development of costing methodologies for academic programmes, and establishing innovative approaches to student fee determination.
