If you completed your programme of study last year, your loan is now due for repayment.
Repayment Commencement Date: September 30, 2026
All payments are due on the last business day of each month.
Late Penalty: $750.00
A penalty will be charged to your account if:
- The monthly payment is not received by the 15th of the following month
- The amount paid is less than the monthly payment
- The loan is in arrears
The penalty is applied monthly until the arrears are cleared.
Important: Always include your loan account number and TRN on all payments and correspondence, so your account is accurately maintained.

Pay Down Your Loan Faster
If your account is current, submit a formal Principal Payment Request to the SLB:
- Maintain Monthly Installment: payment stays the same, loan term is shortened.
- Adjust Monthly Installment: payment is recalculated with a revised term.
