Dr. Kofi Nkrumah-Young

Director

Dr. Kofi Nkrumah-Young possesses over three decades of experience in finance and management. His research focuses on funding and resource allocation methods within Higher Education. He earned his Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Bath, England, and holds an MBA, an Advanced Diploma in Banking and Finance, and a BA from the University of the West Indies. Additionally, he completed a Diploma in Ministerial Studies at the United Theological College of the West Indies.

As an adjunct faculty member at the University of the West Indies (Global Campus), he delivers lectures, supervises student research, and acts as an internal examiner for master’s and doctoral projects. Additionally, he offers consultancy services on financial and management issues within organizations.

In service to Jamaica, his homeland, Dr. Nkrumah-Young sits on several governing Boards as a director, including the Human Employment and Resource Training/ National Service and Training Agency Trust (HEART/NSTA Trust), The Factories Corporation of Jamaica (FCJ), The Morant Bay Urban Centre Ltd., and the Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators (ACHEA).

At HEART/NSTA Trust, he serves as chairs the Finance Committee and is a member of the ICT Steering Committee. At FCJ, he chairs the Finance Committee, is part of the Projects and Operations Committee, and represents the company as a director of the Morant Bay Urban Centre Ltd.

Previously, he was Vice President of Planning, Operations, and Finance at the University of Technology, Jamaica, and Vice President of the executive body that oversees the Moravian Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

He is also an ordained minister, serving as a supplementary Minister at Harbour View Moravian Church.
