Keenan Falconer

Director

Keenan Falconer is an Economist, Policy Analyst and Academic Researcher. Presently, he is
attached to the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service (MOFPS). Keenan’s career has
spanned several entities in the Jamaican public sector including the Ministry of Economic
Growth and Job Creation and the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ), as well as, multilateral agencies
including the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and several organs of the United Nations (UN).
Keenan holds a BSc. (Double Major) in Economics and Banking and Finance, and a MSc. in
Economic Development Policy both from the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, as
well as, professional certificates from Harvard University and the University of Oxford.
Keenan’s academic research is centered on the areas of social protection, financial inclusion and
public financial management. He has publications in several journals including the Journal of
Evaluation and the Journal of Social and Economic Studies and has contributed to technical
reports for CARICOM and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
