The Students' Loan Bureau wishes to advise that the loan application period for the 2017/18 academic year will commence on February 13 to May 31 2017. Applications for the Targeted Loan(used for undergraduate study and repaid after completion) are to be done online at the SLB website – www.slbja.com and will be accepted for both New and Returning Applicants.
All Returning applicants are required to submit their Status Report forms online (www.slbja.com) by the application deadline to facilitate the renewal of their loans. Returning SLB Beneficiaries must submit the most recent transcript which reflects their GPA.
New applicants are required to complete and submit their applications within the specified timeframe.
The Acceptance Letter from the tertiary institution is not required at the time of application. This can be submitted at a later date, upon receipt.
Applicants are required to utilize the SLB's upload facility for the submission of their supporting documents.
