Your Rights Of Appeal
In the event that the loan is
denied, an appeal may be made in writing to a special review panel
set up by the Bureau. This panel comprises independent individuals from the
community who are familiar with the peculiar needs of students. The appeals
process will afford you the applicant the opportunity to present to the
panel any compelling reasons that were not stated on the initial
application.
Exceptional circumstances include hospital bills, grave illness,
death et cetera. Situations that affect the disposable income of the household
will be considered as exceptional. Car loans, mortgages, rent, utility bills,
daily expenses are not exceptional circumstances.
